PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR

Alber, Merryl
Assistant Professor - Marine Sciences
Ph.D. 1992, Boston University Marine Program.

Research Interests:
Elemental cycling through nearshore systems, with emphasis on the role of organic aggregates in detrital food webs. Other research interests include bacterial aggregates in estuarine ecosystems; carbohydrate characterization and turnover; and food web mediated impacts of nutrient enrichment on metazoa.
