(8) EXPERIMENTAL DESIGNS AND METHODS: A Sea-Bird Electronics SBE-16 SEACAT data logger (s/n 1836) was moored 2.50 meters above bottom on a frame. Temperature and conductivity were recorded every six minutes beginning 26 March 1997 at 0000 GMT (YRDAY 85.0) and ending 27 April 1997 at 1200 GMT (YRDAY 117.5).
