8.  Methods:  Precision Winkler measurements of unfiltered river water before and after 13 h incubations at in-situ temperature in dark incubators aboard R/V Blue Fin.  Five replicates each of zero time, 13 h control, added N, added P, added metals and vitamins (MV), added glucose (G), added N, P, MV, added N, P, MV, G, killed control.
